Cancellation Policy

PachaMama is a non-profit organization and all income is reinvested into the community. 

PachaMama has limited accommodation space and the Welcome Team relies on accurate bookings for preparing events, workshops, and accommodations. 

To support us with this, a deposit is required within 72 hours of your booking and payment in full 7 days before your arrival.

 

Visitor Cancellation Policy 

If you cancel:

  1. More than 60 days in advance of your scheduled booking 

A cancellation fee of 20% or a $200 minimum fee on the entire cost of your accommodation reservation

  • The remaining balance (minus the cancellation fee) will be refunded to the credit card you paid with.
  • The cancellation fee for workshops booked will be 10% of the price and balance refunded to your card if applicable. 
  • Changes to dates can be made with no penalty based on availability.
  1. Within 60 days of your scheduled booking:

A cancellation fee of 20% or a $200 minimum fee on the entire cost of your accommodation reservation

  • If payment has been received, you will receive a credit for the remaining balance. This amount will be kept on your account as a credit to be used in PachaMama within the next 2 years.
  • Changes can be made to dates  within or near the dates of original reservation. Up to 30 days before your arrival and based on availability 
  • The cancellation fee for workshops booked will be 10% of the price and balance credited to your account if applicable. 
  • This credit is not transferable to another person.
  1. Within 7 days of when you are due to arrive or once you’ve arrived

 Accommodation cancellation policy:

  • There is no refund or credit given on your accommodation if you cancel your stay. 
  • There is no refund or credit given on your accommodation for days booked if your arrival is delayed or if you do not show up.
  • There is no refund or credit given on your accommodation if you decide to shorten your stay or leave early.
  • The accommodation is not transferable to another person.
  • The cancellation fee for workshops  booked will be 10% cancellation fee and the balance will be as credit to your account.  

  1. Once you arrive to PachaMama –

Workshops, events and ceremonies  cancellation policy:

  • A cancellation fee of 10% on workshops cancelled 48 hours before the date of start with refund. 
  • Within 48 hours of the workshop or event: 10% cancellation fee from the group cost, the rest of the balance is kept on your account as a credit to be used in PachaMama valid for the next 2 years.
  • There is no refund or credit if you cancel on the start date of the workshop or event. 
  • No refund or credit is available if you attend a program and are dissatisfied with its presentation or content.
  • Ceremonies cancelled will be refunded in full.
  1. If  a workshop is canceled by PachaMama, you are entitled to receive a full refund for the workshop and accommodation days not used.  

Additional Conditions. 

  1. Reserved accommodation must be paid in full 7 days before arrival and check-in.
  2. From the 15th of December until January 3rd, priority for accommodation is given to Silent Retreat participants. No Credit will be given for bookings cancelled within 30 days. 
  3. Payments or credits are not transferable.
  4. Credit from cancellations can be used for events, workshops, healing arts sessions, and future accommodation. To add them to your E Wallet a 13% tax must be charged.
